What is your greatest fear?
Being in a very small space underground (brrrrr!).

What is your idea of perfect happiness?
Warm water, warm weather and multi-day grade 4/5 with a group of good friends.

What is your favourite journey?
The day 1 run on the White Nile (Uganda), running Silverback Rapid with a dry head. Watching someone who has run it and their big smile at the end of it.

When and where were you happiest?
Running good grade 4 in the morning and off piste in the afternoon. New Zealand or B.C. (Canada).

What is your most treasured possession?
My Double Diamond paddles and Pyranha Burn kayak

What is your favourite meal?
One that I have been given!

What is your favourite piece of music?
Sex on fire (Kings of Leon), Unfinished Symphony (Massive Attack)

What do you like most about being an outdoor instructor?
The look on someone's face when they finally get it.

Would you rather be a big fish in a little pond, or a little fish in a big pond?
Little fish in a big pond, this allows me to grow and become a bigger fish.
