What is your greatest fear?
Having regrets about any part of my life.
What is your idea of perfect happiness?
Living simply at one with the environment, while exploring new remote places without the influence of modern technology, life and hustle and bustle.
What is your favourite journey?
Paddling out over Aberdyfi Bar on a still clear evening when the sun is setting so that you can see the whole of Cardigan Bay with some waves to surf once it's dark on the way back in.
When and where were you happiest?
Mid-way through my expedition to circumnavigate Britain and Ireland by sea kayak. Life was simple, rewarding, self reliant, requiring a lot of inner self-disipline and motivation and therefore a very rewarding way of life - my utopia!!!
What is your most treasured possession?
My dog Jet
What is your favourite meal?
Undied smoked haddock, with mashed potatoes and minted peas.
What is your favourite piece of music?
Nimrod by Elgar played when you can lie down outside when the sky is black and full of stars.
Would you rather be a big fish in a little pond, or a little fish in a big pond?
A little fish in a big pond - I would like to be small enough to explore places bigger fish can't go, as well have more pond to explore.
