For over 65 years we've been inspiring thousands of young people to unlock their potential, raise their self-esteem and prepare them to face their future with confidence. Charitable donations support young people from a wide range of backgrounds and circumstances, for whom this experience is truly life changing.
We believe that everyone should be able to have a life-changing Outward Bound experience. We also believe that a lack of funds shouldn't be a barrier to boosting a young person's confidence and self-respect, to improving their ability to work with and to lead others, or to engendering a greater appreciation of the natural environment.
What we raise money for:
- Give financial help to young people who otherwise couldn't pay for their course
- Purchase the equipment needed to provide the experiences we offer
- Ensure our residential centres can accommodate the 30,000 young people who stay in them every year
