Are you ready for an incredible personal journey, an intensive adventure deep into the remote wilderness of Britain? You'll leave the world you know far behind, as you hike, climb and paddle into the wild, taking responsibility for yourself as you and your group camp overnight for 21 days. This expedition involves real physical challenges, as you build up your skills and experience in the mountains, and with expert instructors to assist you along the way, you’ll discover some truly adventurous and unique places.
The Highlands Expedition is a true journey as you cross this wild and craggy range of mountains under your own power. After kitting up at our Loch Eil centre you’ll set off trekking through the peaks, paddling canoes along lochs and setting up camps on the shore.
As your campcraft, navigation, paddling and mountain skills develop you will start to take more control of the journey, along with your group. It can develop in many ways, always with an experienced Outward Bound instructor on hand to guide and assist you. You may even summit Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the UK, as you undertake this incredible Highlands expedition.
