Are you ready for an incredible personal journey, an intensive adventure deep into the remote wilderness of Britain? You'll leave the world you know far behind, as you hike, climb and paddle into the wild, taking responsibility for yourself as you and your group camp overnight for 21 days. The Snowdonia, Highland and Lakeland expeditions involve real physical challenges, as you build up your skills and experience in the mountains. With expert instructors to assist you along the way, you’ll discover incredible places, and by the end you’ll be taking decisions with your group and developing your own unique adventure.
The Lakeland Expedition lets you discover and explore The Lake District in a unique way. This is England's largest National Park and a region where the landscapes change rapidly, as you trek along the high ridges and paddle the length of the lakes. If you are new to expeditions then this may be an ideal first choice, combining challenge with flexibility and real adventure.
The journey you'll embark on takes many forms – from a point to point trek to setting up a series of base camps in remote and beautiful mountain locations. These camps will be the launch point for climbs, scrambles and summit hikes as well as adventurous activities on the water. The overall mixture, including days off for reflection and recovery, is the ideal way to build real mountain skills and experience, in a remarkable setting.
