Are you ready for an incredible personal journey, an intensive adventure deep into the remote wilderness of Britain? You'll leave the world you know far behind, as you hike, climb and paddle into the wild, taking responsibility for yourself as you and your group camp overnight for 21 days. This expedition involves real physical challenges, as you build up your skills and experience in the mountains, and with expert instructors to assist you along the way, you’ll discover some truly adventurous and unique places.
The Snowdonia Expedition takes you deep into the heart of Wales’s highest range of mountains – Snowdonia – for a summit-seeking adventure. After trekking in you’ll set up mountaineering base camps, sleeping in one location for several nights as you set out to explore in a new direction each day.
Snowdonia has some breathtaking peaks and you will develop the skills needed to scale them – whether hiking, scrambling or rock climbing to the summits. You’ll learn about looking after your base camps, the equipment, the preparation and the planning required to lead your group. You’ll also get to tackle some of the most impressive mountain routes in the country.
