About us

The Scottish Outward Bound Association is based in Glasgow. We support up to 1000 young people every year from all over Scotland. We welcome new volunteers.

How we help young people

We accept applications from individuals and groups from all over Scotland. We provide bursaries for young people up to 25 years of age for all youth and education courses. We especially welcome applications from innovative youth projects, The Highlands and Islands and schools and youth organisations.

Fundraising and events:

This is our premier fundraising event when companies from all over Scotland take part in a challenging yet fun competition weekend under the shadow of Ben Nevis at Outward Bound® Loch Eil. Later in 2007 all teams will be invited to celebrate their success at The Annual Award Dinner at one of Glasgow's premier hotels. The event allows Scottish companies to be part of the development of young people and to share in some of their achievements through the year.
